Julia Volaufova, PhD, earned an initial degree in Probability and Mathematical Statistics in 1974, an RNDr in Natural Sciences in 1975, and a PhD in Probability and Statistics in 1984, each from the Comenius University in Czechoslovakia.  She is a Professor in the School of Public Health with research interests that include developing statistical methods for applications of mixed linear models.
