Bio

Kathleen Rosson, MD, is an Associate Professor of Family Medicine in the Family Medicine Residency Program based at University Medical Center in Lafayette, LA. Dr. Rosson attended LSU School of Medicine-Shreveport. After completing her residency in Family Practice at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport, she served as a faculty member in the residency until her move to Lafayette in 1995. She has been part of the Lafayette Family Medicine Residency since August, 1995. From July, 2001 to December 2014, Dr. Rosson was Assistant Program Director. In January, 2015, she assumed the position of Program Director.


She is married to Dr. Jody Rosson, a pulmonologist and critical-care physician in private practice in Lafayette.
