Bio
Dr. Mire is a faculty member of the Geriatric Medicine Fellowship and the Family Medicine Residency, both based at UHC, Lafayette, LA. He completed a Rotating O Internship at San Bernardino County Hospital in San Bernardino, CA. After serving 3 years in the US Army, stationed in Germany, he completed his Family Medicine Residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, TX. He was in private practice in Lafayette, LA from 1979 to 1990. He joined the LSU faculty in 1991.
