Bio

David DeWitt, Min., obtained his Master’s degree in Divinity from the Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky in 1985. He completed his residency in Clinical Pastoral Education at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Alexandria, Louisiana in 1990 and went on to graduate with a doctorate in Health Care Ethics form the Graduate Theological Foundation in Donaldson, Indiana in 1997. He completed his Medical Ethics training in Seattle at the University of Washington School of Medicine Certificate Program in Health Care Ethics in 1997. Reverend DeWitt has served as the Director of Pastoral Care at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital for the past 15 years. He now serves as a full time faculty member at the LSUHSC-N.O. Family Medicine Residency Program at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital.
